Came across mention of this in the newspaper recently. This guy visits all the old mills throughout the ozarks.

His new effort will focus on ghost towns and is due to be out some time in the near future, so there might be some worthwhile stuff to learn about through his work.

The website is somewhat terrible however and I don't see much in the way of location specific information on it, but it might end up being a good source of leads to locating some of the old mills or ghost towns he comes across.

I don't know if this book has been mentioned on here before but the book ozark hideaways is very location specific. It's not about mills or ghost towns but, has directions to caves nearly every chapter. Hell I haven't read it all the way through but he may mention a mill or two. Just check it out if you haven't.

Ther is a good possibility its at your local library. Great place to find location specific books about the ozarks especially if you live in the ozarks.
