Howdy y'all. I caught the tail end of something on the news today, saying there were going to be some tours given of haunted places downtown. I think it might've been on Commercial Street. I apologize for the vaguaries, but like I said, I just caught a glimpse of what was going on. I DID, however, get a phone number you can call for information.

If anyone's interested the #'s 864-1976.

Could be something cool to do as part of the party! I'll try to get more info tomorrow if I can.

okay, so, thats basically all i know

but yeah, its with the spfld history museum and this is their website:

i looked in the events and the ghost tour's not listed there, but i work with a guy who's really involved with the museum and he was telling me all about it and it actually sounded really cool.

some of the things he told me were things like going to the first cemetary in spfld which is paved over now and when they exhumed the bodies before the paving, only 80 of the 100 were accounted for......

also the tour showing you places where murders occurred.....and cool shit like that!

and he thought that the tour would actually include getting to go into some of the buildings and stuff.

$10, I think. And yeah, I think they will be going inside some actual buildings. Still haven't called, though.

is anyone going? I just called and she said that they are booked up for both nights. But that there could possibly be openings on the buses if some people dont show up. The buses are running from the Northeast Corner of the Square every hour.
