What is it?!

It's HUGE and I've always wondered what the hell it is.

Was it torn down recently or something? And that last picture is really weird. Half of it's brown and half green.

That's because that particular area was patched together by two different photos, one of which was taken in the winter or fall (brown) and the other in the spring or summer (green). The only parts left of the building are small warehouse sections of it. The rest of it just vanished and it doesn't even look like it used to be there.

Its actually pretty depressing because that means it probably wasn't being used enough to keep us out of it. :(

My guess is that it's probably a railroad repair area or something. That's just a guess, though.

It was a steel factory. Very amazing structure so I've heard. Maybe if PAWolf would post a little more, we would know.

Yeah, I finally found information about it. Jeeze, still sad that I missed out on something so sweet.

google maps is one of the greatest tools i've found on the net and it's free! just wish they'd finish mapping the springfield area with satellite imagery.

Ah yeah, what do you know, it even says that further up. Reading never was my favorite subject in school.
