Kemper Military School
Kemper Military School
Kemper Military School in Boonville, MO was the "was the oldest military academy west of the Mississippi River." It was closed in 2002 and the city owns it now. They just rejected an offer to buy the campus, so who knows what they are planning to do with the place now.

There is absolutely no evidence to support the theory that life is serious.

This went sort of unnoticed... or no one thought it was worth a reply.

The having to register there probably turned most everyone away. I think the place is worth a looky-loo though.Pyrate wrote:This went sort of unnoticed... or no one thought it was worth a reply.

Too lazy to read the article, but exploring anything military related is usually interesting.

Oooh! I am now obsessed with the idea of going into one of those little... house thingies (yeah... I used the technical term).
Time for a slightly (if that) amusing Matt Blunt story. My dad works at Municiple Court downtown and once upon a time he was in an elevator with Mr. Blunt and Blunt got all huffy cause my dad had no idea who he was at the time... he was some city official peon or something.
Siiight... Conservative Republicans. Can't live with 'em, and murder is illegal.

definitely the two control houses are the stars of the show; what's cool is that to get to them, you would have to approach the bridge from both sides of the river; although somebody with nerves of steel (not me) could climb across the central span to get across to the other side;
anyway, the remaing days of the dear little houses are numbered, if governor runt i mean blunt has his way...
