ok, I'm back. It was youthsonic, S1L3N7BOB, Pyrate, LostLenore, and me. Meet up at Murrys, and headed out in youthsonics car, with the GPS giveing us instructions the whole way.

Ok, I have to take a sideroute here. Garmin GPS's are the coolest thing ever. I must have one! My wife instantly said no, so I'm trying to decide on selling my laptop, or some PA equimpent to pay for it. 14 feet accurate, maps, and voice directions the whole way. It only lost signal once, and that was after the trip; in KC between huge buildings. Geek drooling done.

So we got there, with a little help foud the entrance, and had to leave. If you go, take a rope ladder or something. "Oh cool ass GPS, tell me of a hard ware store" "Oh slightly less cool ass GPS, tell me the number of another hardware store, one which is open!" Anyway we found one, go a chain ladder, and went in.

Mostly just one room, concreete walls, lost of junk. Heres pics:

BTW - S1L3N7BOB sorry if you don't like the evil smiley, but I didn't know if you wanted your face shown, and you where the only one who looked at the camera.

Kc & thetrio, sucks for you guys. It was a cool time. Even if the inside was sorta... blah. Still an adventure. Plus, you missed some sweet rednecks in the back of a pick-up, which was pretty much the highlight of the trip... and quite possibly my life.

Great trip. Spent about an hour getting that chain ladder. Fun though.

How much did the ladder cost you? And how long is it?

The ladder was a 15 foot chain ladder made by First Alert, and cost me 39$ + tax, so around 43$. I was actually going to see if I could get you to make me one and return this one, as long as it won't cost me more than what I paid for this one.

And you missed me climbing inside of one of the rims of the largest giant hot-wheels car I have ever seen... the damned truck had like a 5 foot lift kit on it.

Ha, everyone see the pictures on the main page? We missed out on all that just cause we couldn't suck it up and play with a few buttons.

I wasn't about to do it. I think the idea was "let's just convice bob to do it so if something goes wrong, we can blame him." Yep, not fallin for it. :P

We played with a HELL of a lot of buttons. We just didn't touch the BIG, OLD, ORANGE painted breaker that looked like it might catch on fire, electrocute the hell out of us, or any number of other bad things. Can't imagine why :)

So I'm REALLY wanting to go check this place out, heard stories about it. Anyone know where it's at? PM if you do. All I know is it's somewhere in Pleasant Hill.
If you can read this, roll me back over....
