That's heartwarming to see a community that does care about interesting content and is willing to invest to keep it alive... I've seen too many forums and online communities die because of stuff like that, with everyone complaining (if not straight out insulting the owner/managers of said forums) without ever doing something to help.

I was really trying my hardest to keep it alive. Youthsonic and I went back and forth for almost an entire year trying to relaunch together but he was just too busy; not really his fault. Then out of the blue he just offered to sell it to me. The cost to buy the site was a lot for me at the time and after I posted online asking for help everyone pitched in to help cover the cost. After all of the support, I consider the site owned by the community rather than owned by me.
