Churchs of North St. louis
Churchs of North St. louis
I know of a few churchs in north st. louis that look really neat. I have been to one near hyde park, to one with the tunnel to the newer part. I know have at least 2 more. I have driven past both of them and I know where they are, If anyone would like to meet up to go to them pm me.
Also, In if you have time go to the cemeteries in north city they are really neat I went last week with a friend, people had such cool names back in the day.

I've been to the one you're talking to - Bethlehem Lutheran. It's amazing, and on my list of things I need to post on my blog soon.
You know you wanna look:

If it's what I'm thinking it is, it's a Lutheran church in North St. Louis with a tunnel connecting the old abandoned chapel to the new one. It's not all that neat, just a concrete tunnel about 50 feet long, but it's not something you see every day either. I found the attic to be the coolest part of the building.

My partner and I have been to Bethlehem Lutheran (as well as the burnt out Turner Hall down the street). Bethlehem Lutheran is by far on of the best sites we've been to. The tunnel you were talking about is kind of odd becuase it ends in what seems like a sliding warehouse style door that doesn't slide. We checked the opening in the wall caddy corner to the tunnel to see if that lead past the "door" but it didn't seem to. Again, this is the most beautiful place we've been thus far. Yep. Salisbury and Florissant I believe...I could be wrong, though.

That is one of the most beautiful places I've been. I especially liked the bell tower with the carving on the stairs with the names and dates, I think the earliest was 1914?
