Ever been in the tunnels at the end of River Des Peres?

If you drive down westbound Manchester and turn left on the first street after you pass under Hampton (I think it's Hampton), you'll drive over a bridge and if you look to the left you see where River Des Peres ends in two huge tunnels. Easily big enough to drive a truck through. There's a smaller third opening on the right. No gates or grates. It seems like the drainer's dream. Anyone been up there?
