RE: Goldenrod Showboat
just saw on the boss' fb wall that she thinks someone or some people may try to "break into" the boat. rethink that idea if you are in this group or in ue in general. like mandi said- just ask for a semi guided tour.
RE: Goldenrod Showboat
Considering that getting a tour is possible and some fine people are doing their best to take care of the boat while waiting for a possible restoration, probably on a volunteer basis, infiltrating it would be a dick move. Don't be a dick.

Very much agree. Plus there are alarms and they will prosecute, and one of the caretakers lives nearby and can hear that alarm go off. The number is on the sign. If you want a tour act quick because they are about to move it to St. Louis and who knows if we will be able to tour it after that.
Tours are free. All that they ask is that you donate your pics to the cause. Cash donations are accepted and appreciated, but not necessary.

Yes, if anyone posts any pics with my face/head in it, I ask you to blur it or put an image of my avatar over it, even if it's just a bit of the side. And no tags if posted on fb.Mandi Milenko wrote:CDevon you should probably take that group pic down. People are funny about having their faces shown on here.
I'm weird like that when it comes to internet privacy.

The lady in the cowboy hat that was helping give the tour was packing heat.

Also to all you losers on the tour who didn't know they'd let you up on the roof...

Re: Goldenrod Showboat
I'm pretty sure going up on the roof wasn't part of the tour as you had to go through the galley to get there. Galley was verboten according to Jake. Of course that didn't stop me...

Re: Goldenrod Showboat
The roof was neat. I talked with one of the guides about the ghosts while CCD and Nicotti and I were up there.
