Radium Mines

Anyone interested in a trip to the mines this winter? They close to Roaring River. They are neat.

I grew up 7 miles west of Roaring River. Which of the mines in that area are you referring to?

They used to call that area radium valley. There is still part of a building there. Used to bottle water in the 1920s. You really need a 4 x 4 to get down there.

That's the easy part. I'm with slow walker. I know several mines around there. :D
What's the point of making a point if the point you are trying to make is pointless? Do you get my point?
