Clocktoberfest 2011 (Galena IL)

Clockwork asked me to post this here, he's doing his something'th annual Clocktoberfest in Galena, IL (Near Dubuque IA) next weekend. Festivities start unofficially on Thursday with a mine exploration, then kick off "officially" on Friday night with underground boating. Saturday is a big bonfire party at an old farm where everyone camps (legit, lol). Then drunken mine exploring Saturday night, and any survivors can check out the ruins of a Victorian theme park (with cave) on Sunday.

There's usually a lot of beer-fueled mayhem, redneckery, bombing Slim Jim with fireworks, ATVs, underground exploring, etc.

which reminds me...i had full access to UER at one point and I forgot the password to my profile and the email i used to set it up is an old one that i can't get into anymore.

know anyone that can fix this for me?

One of the mods can probably help with that. I have gotten a lot of help with certain things from a midwest mod on there.

Speaking of clocktoberfest, I will go one of these days, damnit!

I pmed AvatarX when I did the did the same thing. He fixed it for me.

Clocktoberfest was pretty good this year, nobody died despite our best efforts, we did some sweet caves, confused the cops with our multiple cult-like identical Kias, pissed off the entire neighborhood with fireworks, blew up Jim's tent, went swimming and boating underground, etc. There's a few pictures floating around. I think moth hit the nail on the head... You generally don't expect to see any rolling fields or pretty scenery associated with hipsters.
