Bolivar

Post by BigFish »

Anyone know anywhere good to go in the Bolivar-Polk County area. I know of some old houses that I have been to a lot. I would like somewhere new to go.

I live in Bolivar... there's not much here unless you like old abandoned farmhouses and junkyards. There are a few interesting tunnels under downtown, but they're not as large or expansive as the ones in Springfield. There are a few caves in Polk Co. as well, but only a dozen or so.

Yeah, I figured that. The coolest place that I have been able to find is an old slave house on T Hwy. west of Bolivar. I guess the most exciting part is trying not to get shot by the guy across the road. But the house itself is pretty cool.

I accidentally (don't ask) went to Bolivar last weekend.

It was like a smaller, duller Springfield. I hadn't been since '98 or so. Returning, I recalled why.
