Depeche Mode did a version of that song, sehr gut.

That is very, very cool. I would've so been over that fence.

How deep do those things go into the ground? Like, if you did hop the fence, would you find a deep round pit or just a depression or what?

supposing you did hop the fence....

you might find some air vents sticking out of the slab...you might find a building sitting inside of a circular depression......

you might possibly find the building locked.......

this is all supposing you hopped the fence....

you need to go up there sometime for yourself.....

My girlfriend was with me and she was really really sick. I felt bad for going out there when she was with me and sick but it's the only shot i had for a month.....
i fully plan on going back and spending more quality time around the site...

do you think there is any chance of setting off somekind of sensor that would alert somebody??
I know it looks deserted but most of these are watched,
But i do agree with W/R good plann or not It needs to be explored
Does anyone know what type of missle stie it was Nike Atlas??? Are the doors still there and just closed
the air vents probaly would not get you to where the missle was probaly be a few safeguards alond the way
Somewhere there has to be a escape hatch which should be the best way in

no, no sensors, no cameras etc. etc. ......

the only real deterrent is maybe the person who owns the land seeing a car sitting right in front of it....the best way i can think around that is to have somebody drop you off..............it's too far away from anything to park and come back....

getting into where the missile was...*i think* is accessable by way a little building sitting inside of a circular depression.....i think...
by the way....the site looks nothing like the satellite image from 96

Sounds interesting enough to explore. I've never been to a missle base before, so something new for me!

It would be nice to take a trip up there, what is the URL for the satellite image from '96?
