Central Missouri Correctional Facility

There is another prison NW of Jefferson City, formerly called the "Central Missouri Correctional Facility" a.k.a. the "Church Farm" that was mothballed in 2005 to save the state some cash.

Anybody ever thought of infiltrating there? I think i'll go take a look sometime soon. Probably still has most of its razor wire up.

Isn't that the one that they use as a parking lot or something? I know I read that somewhere..

No that's the Jefferson City Correctional Facility in downtown Jefferson City, though a worthy site indeed.

I haven't heard that it was abandoned. I will look into it and let you know. I'll make a mental note to drive by it tomorrow.

I spotted a red SUV and a blue car that looked like a crown victoria. I'll due a few random drive byes and see what I can come up. One of my friend's fathers lives a short distance, so I will see if I can't get some better intel on foot or under cover of darkness.

Digging for more information led me to PrisonTalk.com - holy crap that's a whole different spectrum of society...

According to the gossip among loved ones of the incarcerated Church Farm was closed down last summer. Not sure whether that was just the prison population, or administratively as well.

I'd be in for the trip though if it has been abandonned.
