update

Post by Static_Age »

I am working at the Airport in Highfill theses days, they have me working 50 plus hours a week or more.

and still going to night school.

I visit the board, but rarely post anymore.

anyway, the only days off I have are mon-wed, that doesnt make for good adventures, and going out and stuff.

I would like to find some new sites, here in the NWA area to explore on my days off, but cant seem to find anything new, I'm especially looking for sinkholes these days.

anyone having any suggestions let me know.

Hey bud. Glad to hear from you. Unfortunately I'm running out of places around here too. :) I'll keep my eyes open for sinkhole stuff.

Glass, great to hear from you as well.

While driving though Tulsa, I noticed an abandoned hotel, called "camelot", if you or anyone knows about this place, let me know.

this place was big, way big.

I've only heard about it in the OK thread.

I drove through Galena, KS this weekend and saw a sign "Oldest mining town in KS" This is all I can find about it so far. Looks like some nice sink holes for you. :)

Here's a video somebody made of the Camelot:

Here are some other sites:

It's supposed to be demolished this summer, so check it out while you can. I've heard that it is heavily patrolled, however.
