New to urbex
I've lived in Tulsa for a few years now and have only officially explored one location (an old house in Catoosa, I'd be happy to share the location if I ever find it again...I can tell you it's by the Hard Rock casino, though). I guess I'm just looking for good starter locations? I'm totally disappointed I never got to go into Hissom..locations like that would be appreciated (but I'll take anything)
RE: New to urbex
There aren't that many "starter" locations I can think of. On the west side south of the old Sunoco refinery, now Holly, there are a few places over in that area.
Some really cool stuff downtown, but its all hard to get into, atleast now anyways.
There is an old hospital north of downtown on pine st. Drive by it the other day, should still be easy to get into.
Watch out for angry hobos.

I hear that area is good for draining... but I've not been there so I can't really verify that.
More online investigation than onsite exploration these days.

RE: New to urbex
I've located about 40 different drains over the size of 6 feet, many around 8 and 9 feet, some 12 feet and 16 feet. I've been in about 25 of em. So yes, the area is good for draining.
