Cave in Lenexa KS

Post by Former User #1 »

I was working on a project today designing a stream running through a future golf course and residential area west of Lenexa, Kansas. The survey data the crew gave me has a cave marked on it south of the property. I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about this cave and if it would be worth seeing... It's at approx 38deg 57' 32''N, 94deg 47' 27''W. Any help would be appreciated if you recognize the place!

That would be excellent.... thank you! The land isn't under construction til june, so no danger of trespassing or anything.

Hey tiamat... are there any updates on the previously mentioned cave? Is it worth a roadtrip?

Sorry. I didn't get a response after that. I'm actually working on the project right now... it's killing me to have the word "cave" show up on a survey and not know anything about it. All I know is the entrance is about 7 ft wide.

Roadtrip!!!!!!!!
What's the point of making a point if the point you are trying to make is pointless? Do you get my point?

Oh, there's an open part... That's just a pic of a possible second entrance that was recently exposed.

Not that I know of, Charlie... probably not in a long time. It's in a construction zone now, and before that, it was mining land under lock and key.
