Camping & Exploring Help

Post by d3adb0y »

(Sorry to cross-post this, but seeing as how Kansas & Missouri are so close together and I really want to figure this out I figured it would be safe to post in each)

So... I'm planning my brother in laws bachelor party... he really wants to go 'exploring' and 'camping' or check out some ghost towns...

He's used to camping on the hundred or so acres his family owns in Southern Colorado and no camp site or camp ground with drunk asses and tons of roudy kids will do. We're looking for somewhere to camp that is off the beaten path, nobody around and a good amount of wilderness to hike & explore.

Finding someplace near any good exploring spots, caves, ghost towns, etc. would be great. Or somewhere where there's spots like that en route.

Please is anyone has ideas or thoughts let me know. I'm really wanting to get this planned well so it's not some cluster-f*** of a happening.
