Email I got...

Post by Sertile »

I just got this email from this guy named Sam Knowlton, who claims to be a reporter from Lawrence, KS:

"Hi,

I'm a reporter from Lawrence, KS doing a lead story for the Journal-World for next friday about urban exploration. I am wondering if you have done any exploration around the Lawrence, KS or University of Kansas area. If so, I'd like to interview you for the article about your experiences, if you'd be willing.

You can reach me at sknowlton@ljworld.com or 785 312 4658, my cell.

Thanks,
Sam Knowlton"

Did anyone else get this? More importantly, has anyone done any UE in KS? I know I haven't. What do you all think?

I got it. It's been years since I've even been in Kansas. I don't know what to think. Could always call his number though.

It may be a response to the UE show on the Discovery channel... trying to ride a potential wave of popularity. Or it could be just some sort of stupidity.

yeah he seemed like a good guy, and he really seemed to enjoy himself. At the very least he did a good part of the rowing. :D

I shall reserve judgement until the article is out. He seems pretty cool to me though.

I read his article and then coincidentally came across this webforum. You guys seem a little inactive but cool. Id say he painted your group in a positive light though.

Yes, I'm quite proud of the article actually. I'm glad we had him with us.

Ok, ok, so these forums aren't inactive o_O

When I posted here there had been a couple posts over the past couple of weeks and then all the other forums had dates like early september or august, some even back to june...

It's really cool that there are people actively reading these.

I think I want to go back to the caverns in Bonner soon, Ill keep everyone updated in case any one is interested in sliding down a 3ft hole into the ground :P

This post makes it an official tie (at this time) with the number of posts White Rabbit has made...
