i have been getting the php error can not connect to database error a lot in the last few days.

Same here. And it's almost everytime I'm on here that I get at least one.

Yeah, same here. It's some kind of issue with Powweb and their mySQL servers. There's not a whole lot I can do about it except keep on them about it like everyone else.

I really wish I could afford to just put the site on a dedicated host.
