Just found out that one of the largest coal companies in Kentucky filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and now owes most of its miners several weeks' pay, on top of owing vendors over $100M...the bullet points of incompetence and possible fraud leading up to this particular clusterfuck are too many to list.

Employee at my company puts in work request that SQL report is only showing 1 person with status value X.

I send email asking for examples of people they think should be on the report.

They respond that there is only one person being shown on the report and give me a list of 4 people, saying these people have been cleared. I check the system none of the people have value X.

I respond saying maybe they misunderstood I need an example of a person they think should be on the report that has status X.

They send me a list of 5 people saying, "these should be on the report."

I check the system. None have status X.

I email that maybe they should email the dept that inputs the statuses as to why none of those people are status X.

They email me back and say I should talk to the main dept head about the report issue.

I forward the email to the dept head.

...Fucking come on! First you can't give me an actual case of a person that *should* be on the report. Then you want me to talk to the dept head for you? What am I supposed to say? Employee thinks these people should be on report, but they aren't because the report is working correctly. Why does Employee think they should be on there? No clue, Employee didn't bother telling me.

This is the same employee that 2 weeks ago put in a work request saying the current date period wasn't an option in the report inputs. I took a screenshot of the online report, highlighting the current period option, and emailed it to them saying, "I see it. Can you not? Let me know." And I haven't heard anything back from them for two weeks despite multiple emails asking if the issue is resolved.

Most the pictures on my blog don't work and haven't been working for a couple weeks or so.

Something to do with blogger technical problems. I host my own pics in my own domain so the pics are still 100% live. But they show up as blank boxes on the blog because blogger is broken right now. But if you click em, they still load in a new window.

The broken images issue was a multi-faceted beast. Between blogger shit and the actual domain they're hosted at, it took some digging to get sorted but I think it's all good now.

I was forcefully ejected from the sport quad I was driving when the ground and my vehicle had a sudden and violent disagreement over the physics involved in my conveyance.
