Sell a kidney and it's yours! Plus you'll have plenty of rest time during which to read it.

I ordered a copy of House of Leaves from amazon a few months ago. I've read the intro but haven't had time to get any further. I really want to tackle it!

If you're into steampunk, or just like a good mystery, Affinity Bridge is a good one.

I have read that book and I swear I have talked about it in this thread.

OKAY I'M BACK. And I did find where this book had been discussed previously. It has its own 3 page thread. No spoilers, I promise.

Has anyone else read the entire Incarnations of Immortality series?

If you haven't, and you're going to, stop at the sixth book, For Love Of Evil. It's almost as good as the first book, On A Pale Horse, which is the best in the series.

If you read the last book, And Eternity, you will be soul-crushingly disappointed. I wish I could give that creepy old fucker Piers Anthony a good hard bitchslap.

Wikipedia says there's 8 books in the series. the last one came out in 2007, it says.

Yeah, forgot, he invented another Incarnation out of thin air to create an 8th book, and it's supposedly almost as bad as the 7th one. Piers Anthony got senile or something.

Piers Anthony is a money grubbing hack. That being said, he's a decent writer at times.

I've been rereading some Jonathon Carroll, which are pretty good, but don't stand up to the rereading, but are a fun read the first time through.

So far Faust is pretty awesome. Too bad it'll take me forever to finish it now that I'm working and don't have endless time to spend reading anymore...

Hey, Rabbit...HBO is making a mini-series based on American Gods.
