RE: Netscape
Thanks. I guess different people on different systems just have different experiences with it. I'm usually pretty resistant to new forms of technology, but I'm not really a luddite... I just have more of a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality.
I've never heard of a transparent PGN before... someone mind linking me to one? I'd like to see how it shows up.

RE: Netscape
Well, I've never heard of a transparent PNG either, but I Googled it... wasn't exactly sure what I was looking at, though. Is it supposed to fade out? Is that the idea?

Re: RE: Netscape
Hey, Keetz--i downloaded netscape too, but theres one thing thats driving me crazy...when i installed it, it gave me the option of transferring my bookmarks and stuff from internet explorer to netscape, so i said sure--well, my internet explorer homepage is undergroundozarks, so when i open internet explorer, the undergroundozarks forum comes up automatically. when netscape was installed, it did that too, but i dont want it to, but i dont know how to change it! not only does undergroundozarks come up automatically on netscape (when i dont want it to) but it does in 2 tabs. anyway, its driving me crazy not knowing how to change thatDavid Keetz wrote:I downloaded firefox but netscape is working out for me pretty well. I like the setup of netscape a little bit better too. More tools and stuff. Netscape actually has a rendering option so if something goes wrong i've set it to automatically switch over to firefox
input anyone
RE: Netscape
For opening up in a particular webpage when you open the browser, click the edit tab and click on preferences at the bottom of the menu. Once in Preferences, just go to the Navigator tab and in that window there will be a place to change your home page. As far as the two tab thing goes, I'm not sure, I'll have to fool with mine for a bit and see.

RE: Netscape
Should be the bottom tab of the drop down menu.

I'm getting really tempted to get rid of firefox because I'm really tired of popups when I open the browser up everytime, unless someone knows how to get rid of that

RE: Netscape
ya, firefox isn't even displaying all the graphics that I've had before telling me I need a new plug in and such, then when I try to install it, all it does is stall my computer. Now if I kick it, exactly how hard should I kick?
