I remember watching the video right after it happened
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1ka4oKu1jo

Fuck cops
The cop used a choke hold, which is prohibited in that department apparently, on a calm guy who wasn't hurting anyone. Guy can be heard saying he can't breathe. Guy dies. Cop doesn't get charged.

Ladies and gentlemen, this (and the video of the cop shooting that kid I posted a few comments above) are the type of situations that demand action. Fuck everyone's opinions on Mike Brown/Darren Wilson. You don't know shit. This is a clear cut case of police brutality with video evidence where the cop gets away with murder. Eric Garner did not get justice. #mynypd

I could get behind the idea he needs to pay. It seems to be a good example of why cops need to be forced to film themselves. It is kind of sad that those in charge are so oblivious that they thought a campaign of posting pictures of cops would bring in feel good pictures. Instead we get to see just how abusive the NYPD is. Sad thing is that the people in charge probably still don't see a problem.

Wish I could see the rest of the interview.

Is that a random sampling from the OnePolice forum?

"But...the media keeps saying the officer did a CHOKE HOLD, like we're the WWF or something, NOT calling it a carotid restraint like it's supposed to be called.

Burn this bitch down!"

We have a video of the thing, the guy didn't even know how to do a blood choke. He just randomly wrapped his arm around the guys neck and pulled as if he saw it on the WWF. If your elbow is not in front of the guy's neck, he can't breathe.

How are you going to have video tape evidence, a pronouncement of homicide by the coroner, and a law against choke holds, and not have a trial. Shouldn't they at least pretend they are going to attempt justice.

But, like in Ferguson the elected/appointed officials aren't being held responsible.
Instead people go out and loot/damage PRIVATE individuals' businesses. You want justice, turn yourselves in for arson.
Until elected/appointed people are taken to task this will continue to happen.

A survey is worth less than used TP. It means NOTHING.

So how is a survey meaningful? The results depend on who you ask. And you can get the result you want by targeting the audience.
There are lies, damn lies and statistics.

This might be true for any random survey, but Pew Research is pretty well respected for being non-biased, and the whole point of THIS survey was to see what happens when you target specific groups of people.
