First I wanted to say Thanks to those who started this site & featured Dogpatch in the galleries. Had it not been for them I wouldnt have known about Dogpatch.
Thank you to all the people in the forums who made a kajillion threads on DP, I read every single one of them!

Ever since beginning my hobby in exploration & joining up with Abandoned Oklahoma. I have wanted to see DP
so I went & took the chance on a vacation recently.

Always out to prove that I'm not one of those
"Armchair Explorers" or just ramble on about seeing it & didnt take any pics (which y'all have heard a million times)

Cool pics. I have vague memories of visiting Dogpatch with my parents in the mid-80s when I was really young & Mom always wanted to go back but never did.

We were talking about driving out that way a couple of weekends ago when we were in Arkansas. Our trip ended up taking a detour through Hell so maybe next time.

Thanks for the new pics. I still have warm memories of summer after summer spent in the park. I grew up on hwy7 in Harrison so we were season ticket holders.

Funny twist of fate, I'm dating a girl now who's parents both worked at the park during the years I was visiting. Small world.

This probably doesn't belong here, but it's the most recent Dogpatch article so...

The court case regarding ownership of the park has been settled. The park has been transferred to the guy that was riding his 4 wheeler into the park and ran into a cable intended to prevent people with 4 wheelers riding into the park.

The precedent has been set that if you want into Dogpatch you'll need to ride your 4 wheeler down there and there is apparently little the owners can do to stop you. Sure you may get charged with trespassing, but you may also come away the owner of Dogpatch.

It's been a few years since I've posted and since my last post, my e-mail died and I forgot the password to my old username. Alas, here I am again. Still watching and reading all these posts; browsing the intriguing content.

The outcome of the case has been decided as the interested parties know. It looks I have joined the rest of you, except this poster , as one of the parties looking from the outside in.
