I like Bennett Springs. I like that it goes into the Niangua. Above the spring, you can fish for smallmouth. Below the spring you can fish for trout. Also, don't disregard Springfield lake. Friend of mine pulled two 4 lb. largemouth out of there yesterday.

It's about midway between Delawaretown access and Shelvin Rock access. I caught a couple of catfish out of there, but nothing of any size.
