Casino night sounds fun... Blackjack, Texas Hold em tourney, and even a diamond dig. It's been postponed though.

Was watching a show about secret undergrounds on History channel last night and they mentioned the salt mines here. I knew there was a museum there, but I did not know the federal government used it for documentation storage and I did not know that several California movie companies use the place to store the old classic original films. They showed the canister for "Gone with the Wind" but said they had more than you could ever imagine there. That is so awesome. They use it because it's centralized to all of America and because it's so deep it's safe from any possible disaster.

Dad grew up in Hutch, and was there visiting along with Mom and my oldest brother-this was many moons ago before I was even thought of.
They went on the tour of the mine< I think it was the cary salt Co then.
My brother came out of there with his clothes all tucked in and stuffed full of salt. He looked like the Michelin man according to Dad.

As a side note Grandpa was the Hupmobile dealer. Now that goes back a ways!
