another similar hydraslide?
wow its been a long time since I've posted. Anyways the wife and I were coming back from the mall of America over the weekend and coming back down route 71 just south of Kansas City I noticed a quick glimpse of what looked like our old hyrda slide here in Springfield. I don't know the exact location, but it was very visible from 71 and I'm thinking around the Belton area. Like I said I had such a brief glance it may still be in operation, abandoned, or completely off the wall. Anyone in the area know anything?
RE: another similar hydraslide?
I think you are talking about the one just north of 150hwy along the west service rd. That location is actually in KC and has been closed for like about 15-20 yrs or so and is know used as storage for a boat dock company.

It was closed down long before I moved up here, so I have no idea

You were in our neighborhood and didn't stop by for cookies?! *gasp!*
I always wondered what that slide was doing here myself. It looks so out of place and I've never seen it open.

Yeah they are. I know exactly what they're talking about. They've been closed for as long as I can remember. They'd be fun to go down though.
