It would definitely be wise to make some calls to find out about it's functionality as if you're caught trespassing on something like that, they'll pull some kind of homeland security crap on you and you'll be screwed.

what highways do you think it is on??or i am guessing it is probaly a county road?? if it is and you can get the number of the road I am betting some one can find out what it is
I know someone has posted a list of a lot of missle sites maybe we could get lucky and find it that way

part of it can be seen from rural highway DD in jackson county, then you can also see another part of it from one of the farm roads that runs on the other side.

at least that's the way i remember it ... of course the last time i was out there was 2001, and i was not exactly in my right mind at the time.

I'm on the SMS network, and I know where to get satellite maps. Just give me an intersection and I should be good to go.

well, i didn't know the intersection b/c this thing is off of some farm roads, but thanks to some dilligent searching i found was i was talking about. i'm not really sure what it is ... but it doesn't look like there's anybody there.

first, here's this: lat 38.83047 long -94.16075

second, here's some photos i found of the place. this first one is from '96, but it's a good shot of the layout.

not sure what the final image is of for sure ... but i know that this is not a farm and it, at least, looks abandoned. any thoughts?

We went there today. That sign is kinda scary. lol Not much there cept cow patties and a building that you're afraid to get near because of land mines. That's what my friends thought would be, with the whole loss of life thing going on with the sign.
