For some reason, I find it humorous that facebook stock has plummeted so fast. All that hype and... it's 2.9 billion down. Who the hell thought that would be a good idea? There's no loyalty to facebook. Don't you remember what happened to myspace?

I think the thing is: It's already a big deal. How many people got rich off of a current big deal? You have to get in at the ground floor to be a bajillionaire.

I got a new company vehicle today. I put 161,000 miles on my '08 caravan in 3 years. Now I have a '12 caravan. I got it with 15 miles on it. It already has 265 miles on it from 1/2 a day of use.
It's nice! It has automatic sliding doors and back door.
I love going to the dealership, signing a piece of paper and they hand me the keys. Got a new vehicle in 10 minutes.

My boss was very pleased with the way I ran some wiring in preparation for our big ISP switchover. He emailed a picture of it to our department.
For some phone lines, I split up a cat5 cable into multiple RJ-11 jacks and used an extra bit of shielding to keep the plastic end clamped on properly. Apparently no-one ever thought to do this before and I was congratulated for doing so.
I mean, yeah I'm pretty awesome I guess.

My husband thinks he can fix our car for around $500. I messed up the control arm, fender, bumper, hood, passenger lights, tire, rim, and windshield but amazingly I didn't break the axel and I only very slightly bent the a-frame or some shit. Everything else I smashed he can pull out. He's going to try and fix the control arm and tire first and see if it will drive straight. He's pretty awesome at body and mechanical work so I think he can do it.
When I wrecked my old civic, he was able to fix it even though it should have been totaled. Sure, it looked like crap and we said fuck a fender, but it ran strong until the motor blew at over 300,000 miles. There's pics of it on some of the first threads I posted.

I'm pretty sure the "awesomeness" that both you and your boss feel towards this qualifies the both of you for "Super Nerdom".
