you'll need to upload them somewhere. Either to your own website or some place like https://www.flickr.com/. Then simply link them here with the IMG tags.

Dido I agree, It would be helpful to have a thread with the top asked questioned.

But I am good now and thank you for the quick response.

Maybe I'm a paranoid crank, but I never post original images online since the EXIF data of images collected with my phone contain a lot more info than I wish anybody to have. I use photoshop to resize images, and then take a screenshot of the image using a program called MW Snap to collect a screenshot of the image before I upload.

Question: Is the screenshot step necessary to remove EXIF data?

My intent is to remove any data from images I post...

Most places like photo bucket and flicker even Facebook scrub all the meta data out of your images.

Alternately you could changed the settings in your device so that the pictures aren't geotagged.

Windows 7 can remove all this information from all the photos at once with a couple clicks. Right Click Properties > Details > Remove Properties and Personal Information.

I just want to retract any previous recommendation of photobucket for anyone. Don't use photobucket. They have sucked worse and worse as time goes on and now they completely block third party hosting. For example, posting on forums. You may notice that all photobucket users photos on UO are now blocked by photobucket because of this new rule they implemented. Thankfully I already ditched them a while back when they started implementing bandwith limitations and other bullshit.

So don't use photobucket for anything ever.

Instead, use Flickr or similar.

Interesting. I just checked some of my photo posts and none of the photobucket pics are being blocked. Wonder what the difference is.

Case in point:

Hmm. Not sure what the criteria is, but on my blog the remaining photobucket images were all blocked and I've noticed quite a few in the old threads here from other users like Mandi were also blocked.

It's all about bandwidth. If you don't post a lot, you're fine

Possibly, but the bandwidth thing was a while back. This is a new development. The error actually says it doesn't allow 3rd party hosting. It could be, and likely is, due to bandwidth but this is a new restriction.
