Not really. They all pretty much crap out at a certain depth. You might get one that's a little more sensitive than another, but you're never going to find one that will work in a cave, for example.kcexplorer wrote:is there any gps that will work underground at all????

Yeah, Unfortunatly the satellite signal won't penetrate that far... My GPS will even drop synch if I am under a freeway overpass for too long. You will also even have problems in areas of the city where there are lots of taller buildings. I think the rule pretty much is that you need a clear view of the sky to guarantee success.

I have found that even real tall trees that cover the sky will cause it to drop signal so i would agree with youthsonic you need a clear shot at the sky
