RE: Devil's Den
Happens everytime someone gets stuck. People start asking why the Maze isn't restricted or off limits. I figure the first time someone decides to sue it'll happen.

RE: Devil's Den
As to the cave that's away from the main Den/Icebox/Maze hillside complex, I found on the park's website it's a limestone cave called Farmer's Cave.
The caves just north (I believe) of the main cave area were part of the original CCC trails. There's an awesome bluff for rock climbing and rappeling. You can find the old trails pretty easy including concrete steps with pipe handrails and cave entrances everywhere. The staff tries to steer people to staying on the main trail and into the main caves. The easiest way to find the old trail head is between the Den and the Icebox, there is a trail going up and over the hill with a little 4 inch sign with a yellow arrow pointing for you to keep going towards the Icebox. Follow it over the hill and you're on the old CCC trails.
The park staff tend to keep it's location close to the vest to prevent people from picking the lock.Farmer's Cave, a relatively small, gated limestone cave located at the west end of the park. Parties interested in exploring this cave must meet set guidelines in order to obtain a free first-come, first-served permit at the visitor center
