Cool! I've been here a bunch of times. Supposedly if you walk the other way on the trail there's an area where they used to train with ropes in the trees and stuff. My cousin said they showed it to him when he was at that DYS facility there.

I was "committed" there when I was in high school but fortunately never had to actually spend any time there. Any day, my PO could have woken up in a bad mood and shipped me off for a year; they already had my paperwork and a room ready. My good friend had a bitch for a PO and he had to live there for about a year..

They ended up sending me to a lock-down facility in Farmington for over a year because I kept running from every group home they put me in aroun here, but they contemplated sending me there first. I was DFS though, not DYS.

We tried like 5 different things on my list yesterday and all was a bust. Saved this for last in case we couldn't get in anywhere else. Been a slow start to the exploring season this year, but we're planning to kick it up a notch this summer.
