ok photos are now up http://www.liquiddrift.com/web/undergro ... _junkyard/
The cars are not in great shape but you have to appreciate this much original Route 66 history found in one place. Even the extremely rare Fairlane 427 emblems are all still intact.
Warning: The owner still lives in a trailer in the middle of the junkyard so I do not recommend going to this location, it's my understanding that nothing is for sale. I guess that explains why everything is still original LOL

Re: anyone explore off of route 66? near Pacific/Gray Summit
I think i know where these cars are and if they are where i think the guy who owns them isn not going to sell them no matter what or how much you offer (keep in mind i could be wrong on the loaction)

He'd be stupid not to. Just loaded up some total junk shelby mustangs on a container going to Australia. Guy sold them on ebay for $6000.00 each. No motor. No tranny. No upholstery. Dented to shit. Rusted. Just shells. $6000.00 each, and the buyer is paying the shipping, too.

That's cheap. I've seem them go for 20,000+ just for a junk shell. Some people are overly obsessed.BROUSER wrote:He'd be stupid not to. What's the point of making a point if the point you are trying to make is pointless? Do you get my point?
