Camelot was intended to be a "permanent" renaissance-themed park just outside of Branson, Missouri, assembling the best talent from renaissance fairs around the United States. It was also supposed to be the first phase of 600 acres of overall development, but due to mismanagement of funds, the park was open only two weekends before it was permanently closed. The property was sold to a Canadian corporation, which never developed it, and the land sits abandoned and for sale as of this writing.
